Seattle Bike Rentals, E-Bikes and Bike Repair at Alki Bike & Board

Alki Bike and Board is the place to go if you want to get around on non-gas powered wheels. You’ve probably seen an electric bicycle in Seattle here and there (sarcasm they’re EVERYWHERE!) and maybe you were thinking to yourself, what’s the big deal, why is everyone on one of these things? There are a lot of benefits to being on a bike in general, and specifically on one that can get you a little bit further without expending all of your energy. So maybe it won’t get you to Vancouver, but it can certainly get you from U district to Capitol Hill.

Having an e bike in Seattle also helps sustainability become more mainstream (but don’t mention the word mainstream to a hipster, unless of course he’s so hipster that being mainstream isn’t cool than he’ll go out of his way to be mainstream). No matter what the naysayers, um, say, lessening your carbon footprint does matter, and getting from point A to point B on something powered by electrons will reduce that Bigfoot sized footprint we’re leaving behind.
Let’s face it. Seattle is awesome. From Pike Place market to watching a game at Safeco, to all the microbrews, there’s so much to do and so little time to do it. Why not save a little time and get around on a Currie Tech, Felt, or OHM. Yeah it may take a little more time that doing it in a car, but breathe easy knowing you’re helping the world one less gas tank at a time.

If you’re looking for the best electric bike Seattle has to offer, you needn’t look further than Alki Bike and Board. Around since 1936 and family owned since 1987, Alki knows a thing or two about bikes. And the part about reducing our carbon footprint, it’s a big deal to Stu. So if it’s also a big deal to you as well, make the connection and support your local green business.
